There are three costs involved in each premises licence, our fee, the council fee and the cost for a newspaper advert. On average you'll pay around £1100+vat in total.
Our fee - £599+Vat to manage the application
The council fee - based on your business rates valuation. The majority of premises are a band B which is £190 but you may pay slightly more or less.
Newspaper advert - Varies wildly depending on where you are (and no option but to put it in a locally circulating newspaper). Liverpool is roughly £700+Vat, South London £230+Vat and the cheapest we have done was in Kirkham in Preston at £50. Rough estimate is £300+Vat.
