Personal Licence Application Guidance
For your personal licence application you’ll need:
1 – DBS check Request a basic DBS check - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk), this needs to be the paper version which takes about 5 working days to arrive
2 – Two passport photos, endorsed on the back with “I hereby certify this is an accurate likeness of…” by someone of note in society, this can be a doctor nurse, someone with a professional qualification or director of a limited company.
3- Copy of your passport (if UK) or a right to work share code if a foreign national Prove your right to work to an employer: Overview - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)
4 – Complete the application and send all to the council. You can check your local council details here: Premises licence (England and Wales) - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)

It is worth emailing your council as some accept online applications and some require all the paper versions of the documentation sent to them.
